Day 10

Miles Rode = 504 Spending the night in Elko, NV

Left San Fran and made it on to I80 before it started to rain, it did not really stop all day. It was off and on most of the trip.

When we left San Fran it was 65 by the time we hit Donner Pass it was 33. The temp varied between the mid 30’s at the top of the peaks and the low 70’s in the desert.

We ended up in Elko, I have never heard of it before but it is a really cool little town. It is where a lot of the gold mines in the US are. The hotel recommended  a local resturant that was really good called the Star Hotel they server family style. So you order your protein and it comes with soup, salad, fries, beans, green beans, and spaghetti. You site at large tables with other people it was kind of cool.

They are crazy temperature swings and to add the rain on top of that is ugh!!!! How many days to home? How many miles to home?

Rained most of today also. Looks like I will have rain gear on the rest of the trip. It is about 2000 miles to get home.

There is a nice dry target at the range with your name on it, get back soon.
I need someone sane to shoot with.

I wonder if I will remember how to shoot. As long as you remind him how to get home you should be okay,
